What drives us

  • Child abuse expands beyond culture, geographic location and socio-economic status.  Prevention can start by educating children to detect warning signs and empower them to take appropriate action to avoid victimization.

  • National Institute of Justice reports, 3 out of 4 adolescents who have been sexually assaulted were victimized by someone they knew well.

  • The prevalence of child sexual abuse is difficult to determine because it is often not reported; experts agree that the incidence is far greater than what is reported to authorities. Child Sexual Abuse (‘CSA’)  is also not uniformly defined, so statistics may vary.
